FREE Community Paddles

From late June to early September, join the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council for our free weekly paddles every Thursday afternoon, open to all Greenway visitors. With Spanish- and English-speaking staff and volunteers, the series is welcoming and accessible to everyone. The paddles kick off on Thursday, June 26, at 4:00 PM with a community celebration featuring a press conference, sponsor recognition, live music, refreshments, and more. These events are free to attend thanks to the generous sponsorship of AARP Rhode Island!

You can stop by anytime 4:45-7 pm for the community paddle rides. Paddles are FIRST COME FIRST SERVED so your ticket does not guarantee a ride, you must come and sign in at Riverside Park to save your spot.
