🇺🇸❤️ PLATES OF LOVE 4TH OF JULY COMMUNITY COOKOUT ❤️🇺🇸
We are officially beginning to collect donations and community support for what will hopefully be our biggest Plates of Love event yet!
I have submitted a request to reserve the largest enclosed shelter at Riverside Park in Findlay, Ohio, and we’re planning a FREE community cookout on the 4th of July for anyone who would like a hot meal, good company, and a place to celebrate.
To make this event possible, we need the community’s help. We are now accepting food, supply, and monetary donations. Since the event is still a few weeks away, we are especially looking for items that can be frozen or stored until the cookout.
🍔 FOOD DONATIONS NEEDED:
• Hamburgers
• Hot dogs
• Hamburger buns
• Hot dog buns
• Cheese slices
• Ketchup
• Mustard
• Mayonnaise
• Relish
• Pickles
• Lettuce
• Tomatoes
• Onions
• Chips
• Baked beans
• Macaroni salad
• Potato salad
• Pasta salad
• Fruit trays
• Watermelon
• Cookies
• Brownies
• Cupcakes
• Bottled water
• Juice boxes
• Soda
🧺 SUPPLIES NEEDED:
• Paper plates
• Napkins
• Plastic forks
• Plastic spoons
• Plastic knives
• Cups
• Aluminum foil
• Aluminum serving pans
• Plastic wrap
• Food storage containers
• Serving utensils
• Ice
• Coolers
• Disposable food service gloves
• Hand sanitizer
• Cleaning wipes
• Paper towels
• Trash bags
💙 WE ALSO NEED:
• Volunteers to help cook
• Volunteers to help serve food
• Volunteers to help with setup and cleanup
• Monetary donations to help cover items we aren’t able to collect through donations
• Local businesses interested in sponsoring food, drinks, or supplies
Every donation, no matter how small, helps us feed more people. Whether you can donate a pack of hot dogs, a case of water, a package of plates, or simply share this post, you are helping make sure nobody goes hungry on the 4th of July.
