Do you have extra art supplies gathering dust on your shelf or your "craft box", and/or have some things you're looking for? Join us for a free community art swap to make space amongst your supplies and find some new things to explore! Meet fellow creatives along the way.

What To Bring

• Paints, inks, markers, pencils, etc
• Brushes and tools
• Paper, sketchbooks, fabric scraps
• Bookbinding materials
• Clay, yarn, thread, beads
• Printmaking supplies
• Craft tools and organizers
• Creative books & magazines
• Half-used materials still in usable condition

Please Don’t Bring

• Moldy, broken, leaking, or unsafe materials
• Completely dried-out paints or dead markers
• Hazardous chemicals without labels
• Items that no longer function

• Take what you’ll genuinely use
• Leave room for everyone to discover materials
• Beginners and professionals are equally welcome

Workshop takes place at our WE MAKE DC Pop-Up, retail and cultural activation in Washington, DC’s Golden Triangle and is a living, multi-dimensional space that brings together the makers, artists, musicians, and storytellers who make this city what it is.
