FREE CLASSICAL GUITAR CONCERT BY TOMMASO GIROTTO

Join us on 7 May 2026 at 6:00pm for a refined and engaging concert celebrating some of the most evocative works in the classical guitar repertoire. This free event offers audiences the opportunity to experience a program that spans European and contemporary traditions, performed in an intimate cultural setting.

Tommaso Girotto’s artistry is shaped by an extensive international education across Australia, the United Kingdom, and Germany. He has been recognised in major international competitions and has appeared as a soloist at the Sydney Opera House. Alongside his solo career, he has collaborated with a wide range of musicians and composers, and has recently performed as guest principal guitarist with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

• Tōru Takemitsu – All in Twilight (Four Pieces for Guitar)
• Johann Sebastian Bach – Suite in C minor, BWV 997 (arr. Tommaso Girotto): Prelude, Fugue, Sarabande, Gigue/Double
• Francis Poulenc – Sarabande pour guitare, FP 179
• Astor Piazzolla – Primavera Porteña

The evening will also feature a special surprise by the artist.
