Lawns can be a beautiful and useful addition to the landscape. However, they can also be rather resource intensive. In this class we will discuss how to optimize lawn areas and explore some alternatives to traditional lawns, including native grasses, ground covers, and perennial bed expansions. We will also review several tasks that can be done this winter to plan and prep for such improvements in the landscape.About the speaker:
