Pizza and Pyjamas Party! Bring your kids (they can come in their jammies) to experience modern-day Pied Piper, Juno nominee Chris McKhool. Supported by members of Sultans of String, Chris presents his brand-new album, LITTLE LEAF. They'll capture the hearts and minds of you and your young family with this enchanting performance.
Come for free pizza at 5:30 pm and stay for the show at 6:00 pm. Please register in advance (so we know how much pizza we need to bring).
Sing, dance, and laugh along in this joyful celebration of music for the whole family!
Part musical performance, part environmentalism and 100% fun, this award-winning show is fully interactive, as kids join Chris McKhool and his musical friends Kevin, Drew and Saskia from Sultans of String on stage playing percussion instruments from around the globe, dance to the global grooves, and sing songs about taking care of our planet. For three decades, Chris has taken his audience to a new level of understanding of our global connection to forests, air, water and animals. Everyone leaves with the feeling that they can really make a difference!

Chris McKhool Bio:
Hailed as a “Children’s musical star” (National Post), Chris McKhool is one of Canada’s hottest musicians for young people. Chris has been delighting audiences with compelling songs and exotic world instruments for over three decades, reaching over 1 million children live in concert, and has appeared on Mr. Dressup, YTV’s Treehouse, TVOntario’s Crawlspace and the CBC.
Chris was just presented the Key to the City of Burlington for his work creating community through music. He is also a 4x JUNO Award nominee/7x CFMA winner with his various projects. A champion of environmental issues, Chris created the World’s Largest Bicycle Bell Orchestra at Yonge-Dundas Square with over 800 bell ringers! He was nominated for a JUNO Award for Best Children’s Album, and won the Canadian Folk Music Award for Children’s Album of the Year! He’s also a multiple Parents’ Choice Award Winner and a Green Toronto Award Winner, and was just inducted into The Burlington Performing Arts Centre’s Hall of Fame and presented Burlington's Key to the City
“Chris McKhool isn’t sure if he’s ready to be mentioned in the same breath as Raffi and Fred Penner. But with a new CD and a growing list of fans, the ‘eco-troubadour’ may soon no longer have any choice.” – Sean Lynch, The Ottawa Citizen
