Caring for Your Clothes - Mending 101

We have had an overwhelming number of requests for a hands on workshop on mending. The first in what will be a series of workshops on Caring for Your Clothes, the event on March 6 from 6 pm to 8 pm will go through some basic hand sewing techniques and how they can be applied to small mending projects with a focus on tailored piece. Do you know the right way to sew on a button? It might sound simple but we’ll go over the steps that will make this a successful mend for you. This workshop is limited to 10 seats. Tickets are $40 and will include a small mending kit to take home. Tickets are non-refundable and first come first serve.
