FREE CERT Basic Training (Winter 2025) [San Mateo Highlands CERT]

Here is your opportunity to become a trained member of “CERT”, the Community Emergency Response Team. Participants in this 20-hour series of classes will learn how to be part of neighborhood response teams, cross-trained in basic emergency skills. Each class emphasizes skills that will be practiced during the capstone hands-on skills and exercise session.

The first CERT Basic Training session in 2025 will be held on Saturdays 10:00AM to 2:00PM in the Training Room at San Mateo County Fire Station 17 . The last session, **Hands-On Skills**, will also be held at San Mateo County Fire Station 17 on Sunday, March 2nd, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
