Problems and Solutions With Home Inspections (4 hours, REC 3613): Bring your questions, gripes, and horror stories about the challenging situations you have encountered during a home inspection. This course is meant to be an open forum on what you are seeing on reports, what the comments mean, and how to solve the problems that come with home inspection report findings. Along the way we will take a comprehensive look at most major systems and system components in a home and how they work and view samples of common building materials. You will also learn how home inspectors examine a property, common findings and their implication and how to negotiating reasonable repairs. Course emphasis is on the details of understanding and handling the issues commonly found during inspections.
