Most parents are trying to protect their children by using car safety seats, but nearly 90 percent of car seats are installed and used incorrectly. The Dickinson Police Department, in conjunction with Sax Motor Company, the North Dakota Highway Patrol, and Community Action Head Start, is sponsoring a car seat safety checkup on Thursday, August 14th, 2025, from 2:00-5:00pm at Sax Motor Company (52 21st St East). Certified technicians will be available to assist the public with their child passenger safety needs. Is your child safe?
