Join Executive Director, Food Media Personality & Urban Farmer, TanyaDenise Fields aka Mama Tanya for a spirited and informed discussion with author,of Black. Single. Mother., Jamilah Lemieux and family court lawyer, Kaiesha Scarbrough

Over a specially curated menu from Mama Tanya, we will lovingly and candidly discuss radical and intentional mothering & caregiving. What is it? What does it look like in practice? What are the unique and systemic challenges? How do we persist to raise free Black Children.

This is a sit down meal and program. Please find resources for childcare as this day is designed to also be respite and a space to speak with candor. Alice Fields Community Center is a courageous space and LGBTQ caregivers are welcomed. We ask that folks honor that this is women and femme event.
