Hello Bee Buddies!Have you ever thought about beekeeping or having honey bee hives in your own back yard? If so, come on out and join us for a Free Beginner Beekeeping Class offered by Kennedy Bowman with Double B Apiary & Farm at the beautiful Annie Louise Wilkerson Nature preserve. Kennedy has taught beekeeping classes at all the local Beekeeping Clubs, the NC State University Vet School and currently manages over 250 honey bee hives at her family farm.
We will go over what it takes to become a beekeeper, how to set-up your hives, equipment you’ll need and follow along with our honey bees as we show you how enjoyable your first year of Beekeeping can be. No live honey bees will be present during this class.
