Free Beginner American Tango Dance Classes at Everglades Regional Recreation Center:
Starting Wednesday, January 7th, and continuing for the entire month of January (7th, 14th, 21st, 28th) we’ll be teaching beginner American Tango. Since this will be a beginner class, you do not need any previous dance experience to participate.
Our dance classes are held Wednesdays, from 11 am to noon, at the Everglades Regional Recreation Center. The Villages will require to see your Villages ID; therefore, please arrive a little early to do this so we can start the class at 11 am.
Partners are preferred, but not required. We try to encourage rotating among our singles, but please understand that if you come without a partner there is no guarantee you will have a partner to dance with.
Our lessons are free, there are no fees involved to participate.
No pre-registration is needed. Just come and have fun!
The class will be limited to 120 participants.
The doors open at 10:30 and we will play practice music between 10:30 and 11 am.
