Free All-Levels Yoga at The Crossing Clarendon Powered by lululemon

The Crossing Clarendon offers free weekly fitness classes in The Loop as part of our Summer Sweat Series. Join us on Saturday, June 29th at 10 AM for a complimentary all-levels yoga class. Please bring your own towel, water bottle, and yoga mat. This class is powered by lululemon and led by lululemon ambassador Ahmed Jabali-Nash.

This inclusive and supportive class welcomes students of all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Ahmed will lead a dynamic practice that respects your individual needs and abilities.

You can expect a well-rounded session including physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation, all tailored to meet the diverse needs of our community. Whether you want to build strength, improve flexibility, or find inner peace, this class is designed for you.

About The Instructor

“Hard work will always beat talent when talent fails to work hard.” Ahmed can be frequently seen doing handstands and arm balances all over the city, most especially in Lululemon Athletica where he first became an ambassador for the company at their Tysons Corner store in 2015. He is currently an ambassador at the Mosaic District location and is an ambassador for Liforme yoga mats, as well. Ahmed has been featured in the Jade Yoga Calendar in 2019, on its cover in 2020, and on the back cover of The Yoga Journal associated with Jade Yoga. He is also featured in the first Rocket Yoga Manual in publication, titled, Rocket Yoga: Your Guide to Progressive Ashtanga Vinyasa with teacher David C. Kyle.

Although his forte is in inversions, Ahmed has a strong background in various kinds of yoga including but not limited to: Bikram, Ashtanga, Baptiste, Yin, Acro Yoga, Power Vinyasa and Rocket. Ahmed completed his 200 hour teacher training through Corepower Yoga in April of 2014, went on to complete a 300 hour Rocket yoga teacher training with David C. Kyle owner of Ashtanga Yoga Puerto Rico, and a 50 hour Yin training through Beloved Yoga in Reston, VA. Ahmed co-hosted the largest online YTT “BLM Rocket Yoga Training” with over 2,500 participants during the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic to serve a larger community in need. Ahmed is frequently invited to be a guest teacher for yoga teacher trainings, locally in the DMV and across the country, because of his expertise in arm balances, inversions, building community, and assisting. He participated in the 2016 and 2017 White House Easter Egg Roll with the Obama Administration because of his affiliation with Lululemon. He has been hosting international yoga retreats since 2018 in locations such as Greece, Croatia, Costa Rica, and Mexico with a retreat scheduled in Bali, Indonesia for August 2023. As such, he has created a global community of yoga practitioners that seek his instruction.
