Remember us? Been a while, and we're picking up where we left off.
A Boxing Day run out to Hilbre Island (or if weather isn't suited for Hilbre, a jaunt around West Kirby).

If you would like to walk, then please aim to leave half an hour earlier so you get back around the same time as the last runners.
West Kirby can be busy on Boxing Day so make sure you get here early to find somewhere to park. The usual car park on the front will be open but you may have to pay - please don't use the Morrisons' car park as you may get a fine.
As always with this run, please consider bringing trail shoes or an older pair and be ready for your feet to get a little wet.
We'd also recommend wearing an extra layer compared to your usual get-up as it can get chilly away from the shore and the sun will set while we're on the way back so it's likely to be cold by home time.
If you're planning to stay on in West Kirby for food and/or drink afterwards then think about bringing a towel to clean up afterwards (there is a water tap at the finish where you can wash off).
