Edgerton Hospital, Edgerton Public Library, and the Edgerton Lions Club are teaming up to offer FREE A1C (blood sugar) and blood pressure screenings for the community on the first Friday of each month.
A1C screenings measure average blood sugar levels over the past two to three months and can provide information about prediabetes and diabetes risk. Blood pressure screenings can provide helpful information about your heart health and stroke risk.
Appointments are available by calling the Edgerton Public Library at 608-884-4511. Eight appointment slots are available each month. Just need a blood pressure screening? No appointment is necessary. Stop by between 9:00am and 11:00am, and we will fit you in as time allows.
*Please note: These screenings are not intended to diagnose or treat any medical condition. They are provided for informational purposes only and can be shared with your primary care provider for follow-up.*
