For 3 weeks in November, Saint Mark's of Seattle is hosting the "world-class" Terra Globe! This gigantic 24' rotating and glowing Earth installation will be offered for FREE to the public every weekday from Noon-5pm. ***Invite Seattle friends & family to this FB event*** ... It will be an experience you'll never forget! (Non-denominational in nature FYI).
This 24' suspended Earth (masterfully and lovingly crafted by Orbis Globes) offers participants of all ages a feeling of the "Overview Effect" that astronauts often describe during orbit: A borderless beacon of unity spinning freely amongst the black void of space. It's a profoundly moving experience for many, and one we hope you'll join us for!
During exhibition hours, the Cathedral lights will be turned down low and a soothing audio soundscape will be provided to create a backdrop of contemplative awe and wonder. Sit in a pew for hours if you like. Or walk in continuous circles around the world. Come marvel in whatever way you please at the exquisite beauty of our One Mother Earth.
Bring your kids, your friends, school groups, make a date of it! (FYI: The space is intended to be one of general contemplation. While talking is permitted, we ask attendees to generally keep the decibels down in respect of other viewers).

***A VERY SPECIAL THANKS***
To Saint Mark's Cathedral for making this evening and this exhibition possible... To Eric Morris of Orbis Globes for dedicating his life - and this exhibit - to the Earth... And to the Duwamish people, who's unceded lands we gather upon in service and care.

***WE DEDICATE THE MERITS***
Of this exhibition to the humans, plants and animals around the world who are experiencing oppression or pain from unwarranted acts of violence... May the fruits of this evening ripen for the benefit of all. May our creative acts ripple out to serve the highest good. May we hold peace in our hearts, our hands outstretched in care... Thank you Mother.
