Event Overview

Thank you for your interest in Afromeals Foundation's FREE 3-Day Summer Food & Nutrition Cooking Camp! Please review the following information before registering.

Attendance

This is a 3-day cooking camp, and registration covers the entire program. Participants are expected to attend all three days to receive the full learning experience.

Arrival

Please arrive 10–15 minutes early each day to allow time for check-in. Classes will begin promptly at the scheduled start time.

Parent/Guardian Responsibility

A parent or guardian must ensure participants are dropped off and picked up on time each day.

Liability

By registering, parents/guardians acknowledge that participation involves hands-on cooking activities. While every reasonable precaution will be taken to provide a safe learning environment, Afromeals Foundation, its staff, volunteers, and partners are not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during participation.

Registration is considered provisional until Afromeals Foundation receives a completed and signed Parent/Guardian Consent and Liability Waiver. Because space is limited, families who do not return the required forms by the stated deadline may forfeit their reserved spot, which may then be offered to a child on the waitlist.

Health & Safety

Participants should inform Afromeals Foundation of any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions during registration so we can make reasonable accommodations whenever possible.

Photography & Media

Photos and videos may be taken during the camp for educational and promotional purposes. If you do not wish for your child to appear in photos or videos, please notify us in writing before the first day of camp.

Personal Belongings

Please avoid bringing valuable personal items. Afromeals Foundation is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property brought to the event.
