About this Event
Fred Tackett & Scott Sharrard of Little Feat
Saturday, February 6, 2027
Nashville Social | Carson City, Nevada
Two remarkable musicians. Two acoustic guitars. Decades of legendary music and stories.
Fred Tackett and Scott Sharrard step away from the electric swamp boogie of Little Feat for a special acoustic evening featuring songs from Little Feat, their individual songwriting catalogs, and stories from extraordinary careers that have connected them with some of the biggest names in American music.
Fred Tackett is a longtime Little Feat multi-instrumentalist and songwriter whose career includes recordings with Bob Dylan, John Lennon, Bonnie Raitt, Rod Stewart, Bob Seger, Jackson Browne, Tom Waits, and many more. His history with Little Feat stretches back to the 1970s, and he officially joined the band in 1988 with the release of Let It Roll.
Scott Sharrard has served as Little Feat’s lead singer and guitarist since 2019 and appears on the Grammy-nominated Sam’s Place. Before joining Little Feat, Sharrard spent years as Gregg Allman’s music director, bandleader, and producer. Their collaboration on Southern Blood earned Grammy recognition, including a nomination for “My Only True Friend,” written by Sharrard and Allman.
Together, Tackett and Sharrard offer a rare, up-close evening celebrating the music, musicianship, and stories behind remarkable careers in blues, rock, roots, and Americana.
