Fred Eaglesmith is coming to the West Theatre April 22nd!!Fred Eaglesmith is a Juno Award-winning alternative-country icon and a quintessential "road warrior" who has spent over four decades chronicling the lives of the disenfranchised and the grit of rural life. Known for his sharp, short-story-style songwriting, he populates his music with broken-down machines, unreliable narrators, and the unvarnished truth of the working class.
A resolutely independent artist who operates outside the mainstream industry, Eaglesmith’s songs have nevertheless been covered by major stars like Miranda Lambert, Alan Jackson, and Toby Keith. Today, he frequently performs alongside his wife, Texas-born multi-instrumentalist Tif Ginn, delivering a live experience that is equal parts electrifying rock show, intimate folk revival, and humorous storytelling.
