FRAUEN AUF REISEN: Lutheran Women on a Journey! Who, What, Where and When?!?!?
WHO should consider going on this journey? A Lutheran woman, young or old, or in-between. A grandmother, mother, daughter, sister - single and/or widowed, married but husband doesn't care to travel - traveling alone or coming with a travel buddy - celebrating a milestone - eager to see the world - looking for a safe way to travel as a women - wanting to meet other Lutheran ladies. What's your reason for joining the journey?
WHAT is it all about? This is a tour for Lutheran Women that that will kick off at the Berlin airport where we will board a bus for 9 days of site seeing, exploring and fellowship as Lutheran women while traveling throughout Germany. We'll eat some great food and stay at some nice locations. We'll take time to have devotions, sing and pray together, shop and we'll meet and eat with a group Lutheran women who've made a tremendous journey to be in Germany to start a new life, and we'll meet the LCMS missionary deaconess who serves these ladies.
WHERE exactly will the tour go? Berlin, Wittenberg (Luther!), Leipzig (Bach!), Seiffen (Artisans!), Erfurt and the Wartburg (more Luther and then some!), Eisenach (Luther and Bach!), Rothenberg au Der Tauber (quaint medieval village and Christmas town), Neundettelsau (incredible deaconess history), Heidelberg (castle and a river cruise) and all along the way, good food, good fellowship, lots of chatter and the making new friends.
