After a 3-year hiatus (thanks to BBMP for tearing up the roads and pavements! ), our much-loved Fraser Town Heritage Walk finally returns.
Step into the leafy avenues of Bengaluru's historic Cantonment and discover a side of the city that often goes unnoticed. Wander through Frazer Town & Coles park as we uncover the stories of the remarkable people and institutions that helped shape modern Bengaluru.
Along the way, we'll visit a historic church, a legendary bakery, a heritage school and a traditional mutt, each revealing a different chapter of the Cantonment's rich multicultural past. We'll also explore the enduring legacy of the Anglo-Indian community and their immense contributions to Bengaluru's food, education and heritage.
There's far more to this neighbourhood than meets the eye—which is why this is just Part One. A second edition is already in the works!
To round off the morning, enjoy a specially curated traditional breakfast prepared in a local Muslim home—a rare and delicious glimpse into the Cantonment's culinary heritage.
