Hey Ladieeees! Come hang out and learn about basic firearm safety with us! Dark Horse Coffee does have an FFL and we will bring a selection of firearms and accessories(red dots, lasers) for everyone to handle. Please leave your own firearms in your vehicle, we will have you pull them towards the end of class. No live ammunition, we will be checking as they come in. Its all about the safety!
This idea was actually inspired by my daughter in law. Her background and upbringing in firearms is much different than my family. Many of you may know, our oldest son was in the Marine Corps and he is very comfortable around firearms.....she is not :) During their times trying to get her more comfortable around a firearm; frustration arises between where he thinks she should be, and where, maybe, she really is. I can't help but think- maybe there are other ladies in the same situation? AND there are! Women wanting to learn; maybe their husbands/boyfriends/fathers/etc are trying to help...miscommunication happens, frustration comes on, divorce proceedings come up, husbands go "missing" and....ok, kidding! But you get the gist
So! This will be an afternoon where ladies working with ladies can become more comfortable with safety practices and general parts of a firearm. **NO menfolk allowed 😆😆 This is supposed to be fun and educational. IF you have your own firearm, feel free to bring it...unloaded. It will need to stay in your vehicle until we move outside. We will double check at the door 😊
There will be a selection of coffee based drinks and non caffeinated drinks along with appetizers
While I make this as a lighthearted post; anything with firearms is serious business. We will reserve the right to refuse anyone or any firearm.
Please be sure to RSVP. we will have a conceal carry purse drawing and firearms to handle. 🙂 Cost is $25 per person
Ages 12 and up welcome
**We will have a follow up day at the range March 12! If you are a part of this event, you are invited to follow up at Bullseye Marshall at 11am! There is a range fee and paperwork to fill out, so show up a few minutes early 😄
