Every 2nd Monday of the month, Matt Awesome runs a spoken word open mic at Frans Eastside(2504 Dickerson Pike) from 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. With his unique and unorthodox performance, Matt brings an eclectic group of fellow artists to hit the stage with their raw presence. Whether it's poetry, storytelling, comedy, or musical accompanists, Matt welcomes anyone needing an outlet or the stage to express themselves.
