About this Event
Franklinton was founded by Lucas Sullivant in 1797, becoming the first non-indigenous settlement in central Ohio. It helped establish Franklin County and played a key role in making Columbus the state capital. Franklinton's efforts to preserve and revitalize residential areas have helped establish the region's Arts District, featuring galleries, studios, and performance venues.
