Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025 @ 9:00 and 10:30 at Waid Park.
The first Saturday of October is all about bikes!
9:00 am - Beginner and intermediate group rides will begin. Warm up on the skills loop prior to heading out for an ability-specific group ride. All youth who have not registered for FC Mountain Bike Club should be accompanied by a supervising adult.
At
10:30 am - Rodeo begins at the Bike Skills Loop. Rodeo includes a safety check, compliments of Carilion Wheeled Sports Safety. The Franklin County Sheriff's Department Bike Patrol Unit will show off some skills. There will be bike games, giveaways, a skills course, and a short track bike race. Everything is free and suitable for all ages.
