Frankie Fest 2026: Brooklyn's Queer & Ally Rock Festival
Schedule
Sun, 03 May, 2026 at 07:00 pm
UTC-04:00Location
House of YES | Maspeth, NY
The 3rd Annual FRANKIE FEST is crashing into House of Yes, Brooklyn, May 3rd, 2026 with ten bands across two stages AND ten drag, burlesque, and circus performers!
This ain't your average gig – it's a full-blown punk rock explosion dedicated to the legendary Frankie Maddox Rex, who left us way too soon.
Frankie was a force – a trans icon, a hellraiser, and the voice behind The FMs and BOYS. We're keeping their spirit alive with a night of pure, unadulterated rock 'n' roll chaos.
Expect a sonic assault of trans/queer/femme-fronted rock, no-wave, synth-punk, shoegaze, indie, riot grrl, goth, and hardcore and all the other best genres….
GIRL IN A COMA
Hailing from San Antonio, this Chicana pop-punk trio delivers sophisticated, uncompromising alt indie rock fusion celebrating their Tejano roots, crafting a fiercely textured, culturally rich sound that boldly refuses to be defined by any single genre.
BOY JR.
Heart on their sleeve and speaking truth to power, Boy Jr.’s pithy, bouncy blend of original power pop ballads keenly narrate the relatable challenges of navigating a world diametrically opposed to the neuroatypical trans experience, infusing empowering and endearing joy with refreshing lyrics over high energy infectious beats
DJ GOTH DAD
The acclaimed DJ project of Dusty Gannon, frontman for post-punk powerhouse Vision Video. Spinning a meticulously curated mix of darkwave, goth, and post-punk anthems, DJ Goth Dad brings the perfect brooding, high-energy pulse to anchor the late-night dance floor.
VILLINS
Blending infectious, pop-leaning hooks with gritty, high-octane rock, Villins delivers a fiercely theatrical and captivating live performance. They seamlessly bridge the gap between classic rock bravado and a modern, razor-sharp alternative edge.
THEOPHOBIA
Theophobia was started after two former child stars, Matt Ellin and Dylan Mars Greenberg found they could no longer find work as child actors due to being in their 20s and therefore decided to start a glam rock band.
CRUSH FUND
Dance punk for the deranged
CAT CRASH
Cat Crash is a punk band from NYC/NJ/MA/CT/India and we have nine lives. Blending riot grrrl with pop punk and fifth wave emo, no one else has exactly the "Cat Crash sound," we are a new genre we dub "BubbleTeaGrunge." Oh, and we're still here to knock your socks off.
MISS CHERRY DELIGHT
NYC based shock-rock succubus Miss Cherry Delight is straight out of a pulpy horror flick, dripping blood, and on a mission for pleasure.
THE FMs
Subversive trans & queer synth rock founded by Matte Namer & Frankie Rex. Carrying Frankie's torch, they have a new gender fluid four piece lineup delivering a set that's both a tribute and a blast of pure candy synth punk art rock. It’s a reminder, and a celebration.
