Frank Weber at Books & Botanicals

Friday, Oct 30, 2026, Forensic Psychologist & True Crime author Frank F. Weber will be speaking at Books & Botanicals from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Frank will walk attendees through profiling a case and give a live demonstration of a lie detector test (volunteer a friend). Frank will have his newest release, Heartbreak Hollow, at the event. This is the true crime case of a young woman who was promised a fairytale future, but she woke up fighting for her life. Eliana Castillo was on the brink of a new beginning—an engagement to the heir of a powerful Midwestern crime family. Instead of getting the ring, she wakes up battered and bloodied in the woods outside Detroit Lakes, with no memory of how she got there—or why someone wanted her dead. Frank will be at Books & Botanicals before and after the event signing books and answering questions about writing true crime and forensics.
