1. The tournament is sanctioned USBC and open to all ADULT sanctioned bowlers who are in good standing with the USBC and are currently sanctioned with USBC. Each team will consist of 2 bowlers.
2. The entry fee will be $140/team; $42 lineage, $2 expenses, $5 donation* and $91 prize fund. Expenses consist of bowling pin trophies for the winning team and on-site photography. Any leftover expense money will be retained and added to the 2027 Frank Vincent Memorial Doubles Tournaments. Payout will be 1:4 entries.
3. This event will max at 68 teams.
4. Check-in will begin at 9:00am. Practice will begin promptly at 10:00am, with tournament play starting at 10:10am. Lane assignments will be chosen at random and posted prior to the tournament.
5. Handicap will be based individually for this event: 80% of 220. Bowlers will use their high average of 21 games or more during the 2023-2024 season. If a bowler does not have a prior season average, they may use their current average of 21 games or more. Rule 319a (Ten Pin Rule) is waived for this tournament. Tournament Director has the authority to rerate any bowler based on known previous performances.
6. All bowlers will bowl 6 games of qualifying, moving each game. If a tie occurs for the last cut position, a 9th and 10th frame roll off will occur. All other seeding ties will be broken by the highest team game, with handicap, bowled during the tournament. Ties for a cashing position outside of the cut line will split prizes.
7. Match play will consist of teams bowling in a seeded modified bracket finals with each match consisting of a full standard doubles game. The top seeds in qualifying will receive byes.
8. If at any point during the tournament, a bowler is unable to finish, they will not be given a refund and will receive zeros for the remainder of the frames/games.
9. All bowlers entering this tournament are to follow USBC rules. All decisions made by the tournament manager are FINAL. All other USBC rules will apply.
*Bowlers may elect to opt out of the charitable donation to the Alzheimer's Foundation via the 217 Whiffleball Challenge by informing the tournament staff. Any amount withheld from donation will be added to the prize fund.
