Frank Sultana, the award winning, internationally acclaimed bluesman from Western Sydney returns to Australia to deliver a series of stripped back solo performances all across his home state of NSW in the first half of 2025. Recent accolades include a swag of Sydney Blues Society awards in 2023 & 2024 including Best Songwriter, Best Traditional Blues, Artist's Choice & Artist of the Year. In January 2023, against 160 artists from around the world, he won the prestigious Memphis International Blues Challenge, considered to be the most esteemed Blues Competition in the world becoming only the third artist outside of North America to accomplish this in the events 40 year history and ensuring his place in blues & roots history.Just days after his historic win, he recorded at the famous Sun Studios in Memphis Tennessee, in the same place Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Johnny Cash and many more greats, producing the ‘Ghosts of Sun’ album, which spent 8 months in the Australian Blues Roots Radio Airplay Charts.
Touring has been at the forefront of Frank's musical footrprint since his first 2011 release including performances at Byron Bay Bluesfest, Blues on Broadbeach, Queenscliff Music Festival, Port Fairy Folk Festival, Blues at Bridgetown in Australia and The Big Bluesbender, The Durango Blues Train & The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise in the US and sharing the stage with a who’s who of Australian and International artists including Gary Clarke Jnr, Keb Mo, James Reyne, Charlie Mussellwhite, Beth Hart, Steve Earle, Buddy Guy, Lucinda Williams, Tash Sultana, CW Stoneking, Jeff Lang, Diesel, Canned Heat, Prince's New Power Generation Band and Cold Chisel's Ian Moss and many more.
