En kæmpe naturgummi-dinosaur, stofmasker med pink skæg og fodboldøjne, og en trold med flere trolde inde i ørene. I den newzealandske billedhugger Francis Upritchards univers kan du finde kentaurer, havfruer og andre forunderlige væsener og fabeldyr. Er det mon en rejse tilbage til fortiden, eller er det måske fremtiden, som ser sådan ud?
Kom med på omvisning og få et unikt indblik i skabelsen af udstillingen, når kurator Henriette Bretton-Meyer folder Upritchards praksis ud. På omvisningen vil du få en generel introduktion til udstillingen, høre mere om de forskellige materialer og få historierne bag nogle af de finurlige detaljer, som kan opleves på de mere end 100 værker af keramik, mundblæste vaser, smykker, tæpper og skulpturer, som er med i udstillingen.
Omvisningen finder sted på Kunsthal Charlottenborg onsdag den 9. oktober kl. 17.30 og foregår på dansk. Tilmelding er ikke nødvendig.
Der er gratis entré på Kunsthal Charlottenborg hver onsdag fra kl. 17.00-20.00.

A giant natural rubber dinosaur, fabric masks with pink beards and football eyes, and a troll with several trolls in its ears. In the universe of New Zealand sculptor Francis Upritchard, you can find centaurs, mermaids, and other wondrous creatures and mythical beings. Is it perhaps a journey back to the past, or could it be the future that looks like this?
Join the guided tour and gain a unique insight into the creation of the exhibition as curator Henriette Bretton-Meyer unfolds Upritchard's practice. During the tour, you will get a general introduction to the exhibition, learn more about the various materials, and hear the stories behind some of the many details that can be experienced in the more than 100 works of ceramics, hand-blown vases, jewelry, tapestries, and sculptures featured in the exhibition. The tour takes place at Kunsthal Charlottenborg on Wednesday 9 October at 17.30 and will be in Danish. No registration is required.
Admission to Kunsthal Charlottenborg is free every Wednesday 17.00-20.00.
