Description:Join local botanical artist Barbara Hanft for an intimate and creative afternoon workshop. In this class, you will learn the delicate art of composing and arranging dried garden flowers.
What You'll Learn & Create:
Discover how to select and handle delicate botanicals. Under Barbara’s guidance, you will curate a balanced and natural composition, mixing various textures and colors—from cheerful white daisies and cream-colored cosmos to airy, feathery foliage and subtle green accents.
The Key Feature:
The centerpiece of this workshop is the "floating" frame technique. You will learn how to arrange your flowers between two sheets of glass, creating a unique "see-through" effect where the florals appear to float within a thin, elegant black metal frame.
Leave with a Masterpiece:
At the end of the session, you will leave with a completed, professional-quality framed pressed flower art piece, perfect for hanging in your home or as a thoughtful, hand-crafted gift. Your finished work, a hanging floral wreath, will be a lasting memory of summer and a testament to your newfound skill. Feel free to bring paper accents such as wedding invitations, baby announcements, etc. to include in your artwork.
