We will be presenting an outdoor performance (weather permitting) with Araz Salek (tar), Aysel Taghi-Zada (violin), Cory Harper-Latkovich (rebec) and Sara Constant (flute). This experimental quartet will improvise upon medieval European and Makam music.
This co-presentation will be informed by Sari-Sari Xchange’s DataBodies exhibition at Centre [3], which fosters new works by artists from the Asian diaspora: Carmela Laganse, Taien Ng-Chan, Haoran Chang, Arturo Jimenez. This will be the closing night of the exhibition, and your last chance to experience this multisensory world of digital installation art!
Experience DataBodies in Centre [3]’s state of the art digital media facilities. Labyrinth Ontario’s Nimble Ensemble addresses under-representation through musical storytelling, binding together these three artist-run and community focused organizations.
