Fractions Workshop

Building a deep understanding of fractions as numbers and extending operations from whole numbers to fractions is major work across Grades 3-6. This workshop will focus on deepening participant's understanding of a foundational progression of ideas that students need in order to think & reason with fractions in meaningful ways, ways to be responsive to a wide range of learning needs within a math lesson, as well as strategies and tools to support each and every learner to see themselves as confident doers and learners of mathematics.

Grade Level: Coaches, interventionists, teachers for grades 3-6, also appropriate for teachers for grades 7-9 working with students behind grade level

Dates: December 17-18, 2024

Times: 8:30am – 3:30pm (participants will have a 1 hour break for lunch)

Location: Mequon-Thiensville School District, Range Line Conference Room, 11040 N. Range Line Road, Mequon, WI 53092

Cost: $330

Event Capacity: This workshop will be capped at 50 participants.

The deadline to register is December 14, 2024.

*Workshop may not run if enrollment is less than 15 participants. In the event of a cancellation due to low enrollment full refunds will be issued.*

Refund Policy:

Cancellations made more than 180 days prior to this event will receive a full refund minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations made between 180 and 30 days of the event will receive a 50% refund minus a 10% processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the event.
