Commercial kitchen ventilation and fire suppression systems continue to evolve, and many AHJs across North Texas are beginning to encounter newer technologies and system configurations in the field. In response to growing questions from our members, FPANT is excited to welcome representatives from CaptiveAire for an in-depth discussion on commercial kitchen hood and fire suppression systems.
This session will provide attendees with a practical overview of these systems, including how they function, common applications, inspection considerations, and the applicable requirements found within the IFC and NFPA standards.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to CaptiveAire representatives and discuss real-world challenges related to plan review, inspections, maintenance, and coordination with contractors and building owners.
Whether you regularly inspect commercial kitchens or are simply looking to better understand these systems as they appear in your jurisdiction, this will be a valuable and timely discussion for fire prevention professionals across North Texas.
