Join us for a true cross country–style 5K on one of the premier XC venues in the Midwest.The Fox Valley Summer XC Classic is designed for runners of all backgrounds — from high school and college athletes preparing for the upcoming season to adult runners looking for a unique race experience on grass instead of pavement.
This is not your typical 5K.
The course features:
• An 80-meter wide curved starting line
• A 550-meter starting straightaway
• Wide grass running lanes throughout
• A fast, fair, and spectator-friendly layout
Team participation is optional, with traditional cross country scoring available for high school, college, club, and open teams.
All runners will also compete in individual age group categories.
Whether you're racing competitively or just looking to mix up your summer training, this event is built to deliver a great experience from start to finish.
All participants registered by May 25 are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
