Join us for the announcement of the 2025 Fox Cities Reads title and author featuring a presentation by Oneida Storyteller Stephenie Muscavitch VanEvery. Kaluhyak^le, Stephenie Muscavitch VanEvery M.S., is a member of the Oneida Nation, Turtle Clan. She has been an Oneida language and culture educator for over 20 years, Haudenosaunee potter, silversmith, graphic and clothing designer and storyteller. Stephenie has a Bachelor of Science in Broadfield Social Studies with a Masters Degree in Applied Leadership for Teaching and Learning and a Design and Graphic Software Certificate. Stephenie was employed by the Oneida Language Departments as an Oneida Language Trainee for several years. She is currently the Wolf Clan Manager at Oneida Cultural Heritage.
Stephenie has been the recipient of the Herb Kohl Teacher Fellowship Award, 2017 for excellence and innovation in teaching. Her art work has been displayed at the Oneida Nation Museum, Oneida WI, Iroquois Museum, Howes Cave NY, Neville Public Museum, Green Bay WI. Kress Pavilion in Door County WI, and Lawton Gallery, Green Bay WI. Is the author of the published books, Woodland Stories and An Oneida Language “Animal” Coloring Book. Kaluhyak^le, Stephenie Muscavitch VanEvery will be sharing timeless tales about animals, filled with wonder and wisdom.
The event will also feature a sampling of indigenous foods.
