A little about our featured readers:
Naoko Fujimoto was born and raised in Nagoya, Japan. She is a poet and translator. Her poetry collections are We Face The Tremendous Meat On The Teppan (C&R Press, 2022), Where I Was Born (Willow Books, 2019), Glyph:Graphic Poetry=Trans. Sensory (Tupelo Press, 2021), and Mother Said, I Want Your Pain (Bull City Press, 2026). Her first translation chapbook, 09/09, is available from Toad Press. Her full-length translation collection, of Women, is available from Tupelo Press. She is a RHINO senior editor.
Tamara Madison is the author of the chapbooks The Belly Remembers (Pearl Editions) and Along the Fault Line (Picture Show Press), and three full-length volumes of poetry, Wild Domestic and Moraine (Pearl Editions) and Morpheus Dips His Oar (Sheila-Na-Gig). Her fourth collection, Russian Honeymoon, is expected from Fernwood Press in 2026. Her work has appeared in Chiron Review, the Worcester Review, A Year of Being Here, One Art, the Writer’s
Almanac, and many other publications. A native of the California desert, she is retired from teaching English and French in a Los Angeles high school. Read more about her at tamaramadisonpoetry.com
