This month, weโre hosting a special Wednesday night reading in collaboration with Claremont Graduate University's Tufts Poetry Awards program, featuring Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award winner Jaswinder Bolina.Jaswinder Bolinaโs most recent book, English as a Second Language and Other Poems, was published by Copper Canyon Press in October 2023. He is the author of three previous poetry collections: The 44th of July (2019), Phantom Camera (2013), and Carrier Wave (2007), as well as the digital chapbook The Tallest Building in America (2014). His debut collection of essays, Of Color (2020), was published on McSweeneyโs Quarterly Journal. He teaches in the MFA program in Creative Writing at the University of Miami, where he also serves as Chair of the Department of English.
