About this Event
Everything kicks off at noon for the annual Hot Dog Eating Contest! It is free to participate, but we do ask that you register in advance so we have an idea of how many hot dogs to make - https://forms.gle/bfBGfKqHXrjQrdez8.
At 12:30 PM, our first annual Cornhole Tournament will begin. It is $20 per team to participate. The top 3 teams will receive prizes from the restaurants inside Kingston Yard. 2:30 PM kicks off our kid zone! Free karaoke, face painting, make your own tie dye, bubbles, coloring, and more!
At 4 PM, we invite everyone to stop into Big Grove, Pickle Palace, or Aroma Pizza to grab food and/or drinks before heading over to the Freedom Festival activities.
7 PM, our Music at the Yard band Motley Scrue takes the stage for free music until
10 PM, thanks to our series sponsor Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust.
