Doc Lucky presents The 4th Annual Zombie Cause Swim
Join us for an unforgettable event at Lucky's Lake Swim, 6645 Lake Cane Drive, Orlando, FL, USA! Get ready to dive into the world of zombies and help a great cause. This event is for seasoned open water swimmers that wish to put their swimming skills to the test against zombies.
Swimmers must all be comfortable swimming one kilometer in the dark - with zombies chasing them.
T here will be a zombie costume contest with awards for Best Zombie, Most Bizarre Zombie and Sexist zombie. You must be a ticket holder to participate in the costume contest. There will also be awards for the oldest swimmer, the swimmer that has traveled the furthest and the top three non-zombified swimmers.
A ll swimmers will receive a patch and a finisher medal which will say either survivor or zombified.
T he swim will start with one zombie prime 75yards from the shore and there will be one hour to get to the other side of the lake and back. Each swimmer will pick up a clip on the other shore to document they made it across.
A swimmers will wear a swim buoy that has a light inside with a trailing cord. If your cord is pulled your light goes on and you are now zombified. Now, go catch other swimmers and zombify them.
,A ll ticket sales go to the Step into Swim Charity which will match the funds and give to the Rosen Aquatic Center for swim lessons for those that can't afford them.
A ll swimmers must arrive not later than 7:30pm for check in.
