the lights glow…
and El Ritmo transforms the Midwest into a swirling, sparkling night of music, movement, and magical footwork.
Welcome to the Winter Ball, the night we trade our hoodies for something that twirls.
This January, prepare for:
✨ Graceful spins.
✨ Slow-motion dips that feel like a movie.
✨ And at least three moments where you dramatically exhale and whisper, “I was born for this.”
💃 The Details
$15 at the door (Cash or Venmo)
6:45 PM – Doors open.
You arrive cute. The winter wind regrets challenging you.
7–8 PM – Beginner-friendly lesson.
No partner, no panic. Just vibes, confidence, and the occasional giggle when you step left instead of right.
8–11 PM – Social dancing.
Salsa, bachata, and enough Latin flavor to confuse your thermostat.
Outside: Iowa.
Inside: Caribbean romance meets ballroom sparkle.
11:01 PM – Aftermath.

Will you end up eating tacos in full formal attire?
