About this Event
As Haigh’s iconic Plantation Gates and Lodges prepare to reopen, we’re inviting people to get creative.
In this workshop with Joseph Doubtfire, you’ll experiment with digital drawing, collage and simple animation — from capturing your favourite places to exploring how the scenery changes through the seasons. Ever wondered how artists like David Hockney draw on iPads? Come and give it a go.

This event will take place in the community room above the Kitchen Courtyard at Haigh Woodland Park.
There are two sessions to choose from.
Morning: 11 am - 1pm
Afternoon: 2pm - 4pm
Please book which session is best for you, you can book a maximum of two tickets at a time.
These workshops are part of series of events to help shape ideas for a brand‑new artwork being created for the North Lodge by the artists James Hooton and Leo Mercer, as part of the wider restoration of this Grade II*‑listed landmark.
