Four Ivy Women’s Networking Luncheon

Join us for an informal and welcoming women’s networking lunch at the beautiful Llanelly House in the heart of Llanelli town centre.

This relaxed lunchtime event is a chance to connect with other women from the local business community, enjoy good food, and hear an inspiring and important talk from guest speaker Emma Pugh of Steady and Strong.

Emma will be speaking about women’s health from 40 onwards and what really happens to our flexibility, balance, strength and bone health as we age, and why it matters far more than many of us realise.

Her story is a deeply personal one. After going through early menopause in her 30s and feeling dismissed by the medical profession, Emma later discovered her physical health had quietly been heading in the wrong direction.

This talk is for every woman who knows she should probably be doing more for herself, but isn’t quite sure where to start, what actually matters, or how to make changes that feel realistic and sustainable.

Emma will explore:
• What happens to women’s bodies from 40 onwards
• Why bone health, strength and balance matter
• The powerful connection between mind and body
• Simple, consistent changes that can genuinely improve long-term health and wellbeing

It’s not about becoming a gym person. It’s about becoming a strong person for life. Whilst the talk is particularly focused on women aged 40 and over, younger women are very welcome too. Understanding these changes earlier and building good habits sooner can make a significant difference later in life.

Please note there is no parking directly at the venue, however nearby pay and display car parks are available and both use the MiPermit app:

• Edgar / Thomas Street Car Park, SA15 3JE (approximately 3–4 minute walk)
