The 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb and Walk is a tribute event held to honor 343 firefighters, 60 police officers, and 8 EMTs/paramedics who died in the line of duty during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.Participants can choose to climb the equivalent of 110 stories, which is the height of the World Trade Center towers or walk 3 miles, which is the distance some Fire Fighters ran in their gear to reach ground zero. This event will take place at Rickets Park in Farmington on Sept 13, 2025 beginning at 6:00pm
Participants will carry the name and photo of a fallen 9/11 hero to:
1 Honor the fallen first responders and victims.
2 Never forget the sacrifices made on 9/11
3 Raise money for National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF)
Local First Responder charities
This event is open to anyone who would like to participate.
