Founders' Day Weekly Chamber Coffee: Celebrating 175 Years of Kossuth County

Join us for a special Weekly Chamber Coffee hosted by the Kossuth County Historical Society on Friday, July 10 at 9:30 a.m. at the Wells Fargo Building on Dodge Street as part of Algona's Founders' Day Celebration.
This unique gathering will celebrate two historic milestones — Kossuth County's 175th Birthday and America's 250th Birthday. Guests will have the opportunity to view a special display featuring artifacts, memorabilia, and information highlighting past milestone celebrations throughout the county's history.
Following the coffee, attendees are invited to stay for a special meet-and-greet with Michael Newton, the great-great-grandson of Ambrose A. Call, one of Kossuth County's founders. This is a rare opportunity to connect with a descendant of one of the individuals who helped shape the history of our community.
