About this Event

When: Friday, August 28th, 1:00 to 3:00 PM CDT

Where: The Innovation Studio, 801 Travis Street, Houston, TX 77002

The goal of Founder's Couch is to give founders more visibility, so their ideas reach more people and they find the support they need.

WHO SHOULD COME

Come if you're a founder, if you're someone who can offer founders insight, or if you're curious about becoming one.

WHAT A SEAT GETS YOU

COUCH SEAT, $25

• On the couch and in the conversation

• A minute to introduce your work

• Your QR code on screen while you talk

• A video file of your minute, sent to you afterwards

AUDIENCE SEAT, $10

• A seat in the main room for the live taping

• Ask questions from the floor

• The main room is filmed, so you may appear in the recording

WATCH ROOM, $10

• The side room next door, with the show on a screen

• Not filmed

• Walk over to the main room to ask a question

CREW VOLUNTEER, Free

• A spot on our team: help organize the show, and help run it live on the day

• Welcome people in and check everyone is registered and signed in

• Work with the film crew wherever they need a hand

• Look after the people who want to speak, and show them how to use the equipment

• Be here at 1:00 so we can brief you on your role

LIVE STREAM, Free

• Watch from anywhere

EVERY IN-PERSON TICKET

• Enters you in the studio raffle

• Gets you into the Funded Founder show, 12 to 1 PM in the same space

Can't pay for a seat? Claim a free one. Someone else already paid for it and you don't have to explain anything. Please note, free seats are available based on funds, you will receive an additional email letting you know if one is available.

PARKING

Park in the 801 Travis Garage, on Rusk Street. The exact address and a map pin arrive in your confirmation email. Before you leave the event, make sure to claim your $15 parking discount. You'll pay around $10 for the day.

WHERE YOUR TICKET GOES

Ticket money pays for the space and the production. The room, the cameras, the editing, and the free seats.
