For more than a decade, Death by Chocolate has brought together friends, families, local businesses, and community leaders in Houston’s historic Second Ward. This year’s event will feature the Chocolate Experience and the signature Catrina & Catrín Procession, along with signature cocktails, savory food, a silent auction, and raffle.

The Chocolate Experience
Discover signature chocolate tastings created by local chocolatiers, bakeries, restaurants, coffee shops, and other culinary businesses. Guests can sample a variety of sweet, savory, hot, cold, and spirited creations while discovering the talent of Houston’s culinary community.
Catrina & Catrín Procession
A signature Death by Chocolate tradition, the Catrina & Catrín Procession brings the creativity and cultural artistry of Día de los Muertos to life. Participants will showcase their original looks as they compete for a place among the judges’ Top Three.
