Founder Fireplace Chat Series Fall 2026 Episode 3: Fernando Dellepiane

Most founders persecute the 25-40 age demographic. Fernando Dellepiane and two former Glovo colleagues opted for the other side: in 2020 they started building for people over 55 years old. Vermut is now a social platform where older adults sign up for activities, join a community and make new friends, from vermouth and zumba classes to day trips.

Join us at MOB Bailen to create a LEGNDS fireplace, where the founder created Europe's leading digital consumer technology application and brought it to the U.S. UU.

We go beyond the highlights. Expect Fernando to share:

• · Why “old technology” is Europe's most underrated consumer market: the gap between retirement and dependency, and why hardly anyone is striving to overcome it
• Designing for a user other than you: What did you learn to sell products to an audience over 55 after working on the user experience at Glovo, and what each founder misunderstands about their own assumptions
• Market mechanics that really work: moving from payment per transaction to subscription and creating a B2B2C tool for the partners who create the activities.
• Raising international money for an impact business: the 1.5 million euro round led by BITKRAFT together with Gaingels and Calm/Storm, and the decision to open a US entity.
• Build a community business where retention comes from real meetings, not notifications

Open-ended questions and answers: Ask your real questions, not just the polite ones.
