Foundations of Fusion with Jenna Sims
Come learn Fusion partner dance! The format is two workshops in the afternoon (with a break) on the foundations of fusion dancing and musicality, followed by an evening social dance where you can take what you learned and apply it to the floor! See the event discussion for detailed class descriptions.
The workshops are designed for all levels, going into more depth than our monthly 30 minute intro lessons can allow. This is a great workshop to gain and level up your foundational skills in fusion partner dance and will translate to better leading, following and switching in blues or other partner dances as well.
We hope you'll join us! If you can't attend the workshop, the evening social will be open to all.
Schedule: Sunday July 19th
1:30–3:30 pm — Workshop: Four Pillars of Connection
3:30-4:00 pm — Break
4:00–5:00 pm — Workshop: Fluidity in Motion and Movement
5:00-7:00 pm — Break
7:00-7:30 pm — Intro lesson
7:30-10:00 pm — Social dance
Location:
Saturday – Broad Street Studio — 1303 Broad Street, Victoria BC
Accessibility note – This studio has a long staircase to enter.
Washroom available and sink for water bottle refills available.
No outdoor shoes allowed on the floor please bring indoor shoes or socks.
Tickets:
Workshop and social (early bird sliding scale): $60–$80
Social only: $10–$25
Limited work-trade and scholarship spots available — email Katree to enquire at [email protected] (do not use Messenger)
Tickets are limited — get yours soon! Non-refundable, but transferable up to the day of the workshop.
